Directions to Miller Tax Law


Your cell phone will probably not work in our area, so bring these directions with you. You are going out into the middle of the country, so get ready to enjoy the sights.

The office is located at 462 Lime Rock Road, Lakeville CT. Lime Rock Road is also called Route 112. The office is in the Lime Rock district of Lakeville, across the street from the Lime Rock Race Track. It is in a three-story Victorian house painted terra cotta (brick red), cream and green.

From Massachusetts:

Get to Route 7 South. Continue South into Connecticut on Route 7. Stay on Route 7. From the stoplight in Canaan it is about 7.4 miles on Route 7 to the next stoplight. (The high school is down the hill to the right.) Go through that stoplight. At the bottom of the hill, Route 112 (Lime Rock Road) commences and takes a Y to the right. There will be a big red barn on your right. From this intersection, it is 1.0 miles to the office. You will come up a hill. On your right will be a pink house, then a cemetary, then a church. Slow down; you are almost there. The office is on the right, the fourth house west of the church. If you go down a hill, you've gone too far. There are two driveways, one on each side of the property. Use either driveway, but the one that is farthest west is recommended if the weather is bad. Come in the front door of the big house.

From Southern Connecticut:

Get to Route 8. Go North on Route 8 to Torrington, Exit 44, CT Route 202. At the bottom of the ramp go through the first light. At the second light, just after the Burger King, take a Left. You are now on Route 4. Continue going West out of Torrington on Route 4 until you reach the traffic circle at Goshen, about 5.3 miles. Go right onto Route 63, going more or less North. Go on Route 63 for 10 miles. You will mostly have woods on one or both sides of you for most of this part of the trip. After about 9.5 miles, you will crest a hill, and then land will be open on both sides. At the bottom of this hill are two lefts. (DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST LEFT.) TAKE THE SECOND LEFT, Route 126. Continue down Route 126 to the flashing red light. Turn left at the flashing light. You are now on Route 7. Go south on Route 7 to the inexplicable stop light out in the middle of nowhere. At the bottom of the hill, Route 112 (Lime Rock Road) commences and takes a Y to the right. There will be a big red barn on your right. From this intersection, it is 1.0 miles to the office. From Kent, New Milford, & Danbury, Connecticut:

Go North on Route 7. It'll be slow. Just take your time and enjoy the scenery. From the covered bridge at West Cornwall, it is 4.4 miles to Route 112. Route 112 (Lime Rock Road) commences at Route 7 and takes a Y to the left. There will be a big red barn on your right. From this intersection, it is 1.0 miles to the office. You will come up a hill. On your right will be a pink house, then a cemetary, then a church. Slow down; you are almost there. The office is on the right, the fourth house west of the church. If you go down a hilll you've gone too far. There are two driveways, one on each side of the property. Use either driveway, but the one that is farthest west is recommended if the weather is bad. Come in the front door of the big house.

From Dutchess and Columbia Counties, New York:

Get to Route 22, going to Millerton NY. At the Millerton stop light on Route 22, turn into the Village onto Route 44. Continue on Route 44 through the next stop light. After several miles, you will see a "Welcome to Connecticut" sign on your right. About one mile after the sign, Route 112 commences and takes a Y to the right. On 112, go straight through two four way stops. The office is 3.7 miles from the second four-way stop. You will go down a very long hill, then over several bridges and back up a hill. On your left will be a large white Victorian, then a number of small houses, (Slow Down, you are almost there) a garage, a federal house behind some pine trees, and then the office which is the Victorian described above. If you pass a church you've gone too far. There are two driveways, one on each side of the property. Use either driveway, but the one that is farthest west is recommended if the weather is bad. Come in the front door of the big house.
